When to take a toddler ice skating ?!?!
I want to take my kids ice skating.
The rink in town just opened ...
but are my kids too young?

I remember for sure ice skating when I was five and I'm thinking it was even earlier than that. My Mom says my brother was put on ice skates when he was two or three - Dad would flood the garden and let it freeze over. She thinks the younger the better. Have fun!
Did you know that I used to dream of being a professional figure skater? I even went out to the "pond" one time wearing a skirt and tights under my coveralls. I got caught and got in trouble...South Dakota winters are a bit too cold for such things. :) I like Julie's idea of the boots on ice at first. Have a blast!
