A foretaste of Winter!

We awoke to a mere 38 degrees!
I could see my breath when I went to get the paper.
Ah - fall is in the air ...
and at last the wildfires will be contained.

I love this time of year ...
the smell of burning wood
the chill in the air
the changing color of leaves
hot chocolate
sweaters, hats and mittens
hot apple cider
decorating for fall
Thanksgiving's a 'comin!
curling up with a thick blanket, a cup of coffee and a good book!!

The changing of seasons is a good thing!
